Prodotta dalla Moto Guzzi negli anni immediatamente prima alla Seconda Guerra Mondiale, la Moto Guzzi Condor è una protagonista delle competizioni del periodo. Agile e leggera ben si adatta ai percorsi misti, il costo accessibile per l’epoca la rende appetibile ai piloti privati. Spesso in lotta con le Gilera, le nemiche di sempre, ottennero numerosi successi nelle competizioni più note del periodo. La Seconda Guerra Mondiale mise purtroppo fine a quel rombante e aureo periodo.
Il modello proposto in asta è una Fenice risorta dalle ceneri. Frutto di una ricostruzione, ottenuta dalla volontà e dalla passione del corridore romano Gino Passamonti, di due esemplari abbandonati dopo le vicende belliche e da lui acquistati presso uno dei tanti campi per residuati ARAR nel dopo guerra.

Produced by Moto Guzzi in the years immediately before the Second World War, the Moto Guzzi Condor was a protagonist of the competitions of the period. Agile and light, it is well suited to mixed routes, the affordable cost for the time made it attractive to private pilots.
Often battling with the Gilera, their perennial enemies, they achieved numerous successes in the most famous competitions of the period. The Second World War unfortunately put an end to that roaring and golden period.
The model offered for auction is a Phoenix risen from the ashes. The result of a reconstruction, obtained from the will and passion of the roman runner Gino Passamonti, of two specimens abandoned after the war and purchased by him at one of the many ARAR residue camps after the war
