La Morris Minor debuttò al Motor Show di Londra il 20 settembre 1948. Da allora fino alla sua interruzione nel 1971, furono prodotte più di 1,6 milioni di varianti. Concepita originariamente nel 1941, rappresentò il concetto generale e la visione di Alec Issigonis per produrre un'auto pratica, economica e conveniente per il grande pubblico del dopoguerra che avrebbe eguagliato, se non superato, la comodità e la qualità del design di un'auto più costosa.
L'approccio fu da Issigonis precisato negli anni successivi affermando che voleva creare un'auto economica che “l'uomo di statura medio/alta avrebbe avuto piacere di possedere piuttosto che sentirsi condannato al suo interno. Le persone che guidano auto piccole hanno la stessa statura di quelle che guidano auto grandi e non ci si può aspettare che sopportino interni claustrofobici”.
Questo è un esemplare restaurato del 1960 della popolare e più raffinata Serie 3 "Minor". Sul tachimetro si legge un chilometraggio di circa 13.000 km. Rifinito in colorazione nera, il veicolo ha subito una precedente riverniciatura.
Revisionata e tagliandata nella meccanica, fatture a supporto degli interventi sostenuti, ad inizio del 2023 Pronta per piacevoli escursioni e raduni.

The Morris Minor debuted at the London Motor Show on 20th September 1948. Between then and its discontinuance in 1971, more than 1.6 million of its variants were manufactured. Originally conceived in 1941, it was, in fact, the overall concept and vision of Alec Issigonis that produced a practical, economic and affordable car for the post-war general public that would equal, if not surpass, the convenience and design quality of a more expensive vehicle.
The approach was qualified by him in later years stating that he wanted to create an economy car that “the average man would take pleasure in owning rather than feeling it was something he was sentenced to. People who drive small cars are the same size as those who drive large cars and they should not be expected to put up with claustrophobic interiors”.
This is a 1960 restored example of the popular and more refined Series 3 ‘Minor’. On the tacho, we read a mileage of circa 13,000 km. Finished in black colouring, the vehicle underwent a repaint.
Mechanically overhauled and serviced, supporting invoices, at the beginning of 2023, ready for pleasant excursions.
